Play with other children

Asearly as in conversations that are planning a game, the child with ADHD can be too impatient and start playing the game instead of talking. And the impulsivity often makes the child change activity without the other children following along. The hyperactivity makes it difficult to switch between violent and calm parts of the game.

When other children are disappointed, the child with ADHD can be both sad and angry. Because the child with ADHD does not see their own role in the right context in these situations. They are often not willing to try to go through what went wrong. Instead, it's about trying to help the child to leisure activities where there is good adult support.
