Children with autism have varying degrees of learning disabilities

Many of them have a developmental disorder along with their autism. At the same time, it is common with good skills in limited areas, such learning by heart, assembling jigsaw puzzles and an ability to learn a lot in a particular area.

Children with autism have difficulties understanding other people's thoughts, feelings and intentions.

It is important that there are additional human resources available already from the start of preschool/school to help the child in accordance with its own development level. There are pros and cons of how integrated a child with autism should be in the preschool/school environment. You must always make an individual assessment based on the child's functional level and the availability of resources.
