Concentration difficulties

If you have concentration difficulties, it's hard for you to concentrate and pay attention. It is perceived as if you are not listening to requests or instructions. This is not because you do not understand or disregard what is said, it's because you can't pay attention long enough to absorb the information. Inattention to detail results in making careless mistakes in school work and similar tasks.

Forgetfulness and losing things are often a problem. You may forget to bring books, clothes or keys that you need later in the day. It is hard for you to plan and organize so that everyday life and school works.

Concentration ability often varies greatly. Unless the subject or activity is exciting enough, your concentration is often only enough for a short time. It's hard to keep focus and not be distracted by other things happening in your surroundings.
